Geography
Welcome to the Geography faculty.
Geography is the study of the pattern of human activity and its interaction with the natural processes of the Earth. The aim of the Weavers school Geography department is to deliver physical and human topics that broaden pupils knowledge and understanding of the World around them and their role in it in a stimulating and thought provoking way. A particular focus of our work is to develop pupils understanding of environmental issues and our global interdependence and foster cultural understanding and tolerance. Pupils at key stage three, four and five should learn skills that enable them to tackle geographical enquiries in an increasingly sophisticated and independent way.
